HAUSZI is the name of a series of works inspired by the BAUHAUS movement.
Wall sculpture 'BISUI' embodies a fusion between Japanese Wabi Sabi and Bauhaus abstracts.
A mosaic of rounded shapes with variable angles to let the LIGHT & SHADOWS dance changing positions depending on the time of day or when a spotlight is aimed at the work.

Due to the layering & destroying technique and adding structure in the paint with salt, sand and cinnamon the work gets more depth and character, the concentrated assembly of shapes in the middle and the open space around it gives the appearance of an Asian sign/ character: 'BISUI' Japanese meaning influence: SPLENDID: IMPRESSIVE, ADMIRABLE and/ or INSPIRING.

Wall sculpture created with cement, clay, paint layered with salt, sand, and cinnamon creating earth tone shadings and structures. The logo sign in relief stamped in the right corner of the artwork. Treasured backside with gold paint and a handcrafted gold-clay Ordaz logo label.
