HIROTO HAUSZI
0,00 €
HAUSZI is the name of a body of work inspired by the Bauhaus art movement. This piece HIROTO is a fusion between Japanese Wabi Sabi and Bauhaus abstract. A construction of shapes with various angles and heights deliberately made uneven so the light and shadow dance remains dynamic depending on the time of day or when a spotlight is aimed at the art work.
Due to the layering & destroying technique, the shapes take a different turn and appear as an Asian sign/ character: This piece is named 'HIROTO' meaning:
- Japanese: often associated with qualities like greatness, command, and esteem.
- Chinese: to convey a sense of soaring or flying, symbolizing success and achievement.
- English: interpreted as strength overcoming challenges and rise above adversity.
The honorable name HIROTO combined with the beauty of the Wabi Sabi aesthetic which embraces the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete brings the balance of this work full circle.
