This piece SUNA HAUSZI is inspired by the rounded shapes of Barbara Hepworth.
A construction of shapes with various angles and heights deliberately made uneven so the light and shadow dance remains dynamic, depending on the time of day or when a spotlight is aimed at the art work.

'SUNA' is a composition with emphasis on rounded shapes inspired by Barbara Hepworth The beige/ sand colored grain structure gives the appearance of a sand sculpture made at the beach. Leaving space all around the assembly of the shapes focused in the middle create the appearance of an Asian symbol/ character:

The name SUNA associated with SAND in Japanese formal, although it has multiple origins. Cross cultures the name SUNA translates to LIGHT, WARMTH, NATURE and evokes feelings of JOY, OPTIMISM and PEACE.
